Since 1962, Pacific Science Center has been inspiring a passion for discovery and lifelong learning in science, math and technology. Today, Pacific Science Center serves one million people a year and brings inquiry-based science education to classrooms and community events all over Washington state. It's an amazing accomplishment and one we cannot achieve without generous support from individuals, corporations and foundations. Together, we will inspire the next generation of great minds and great discoveries. You can help support Pacific Science Center!


Discovery Corps

  • $80 will staff one Discovery Corps activity cart for a full day.
  • $150 will provide transportation for a field trip to observe scientists in action.
  • $235 will provide an online career exploration program for participants.
  • $400 will support a Discovery Corps teen for one month.




Science On Wheels

  • $50 will buy 250 magnets that will help students explore magnetism.
  • $160 will buy 40 tuning forks for students to explore sound.
  • $500 will pay for one of the Science ON Wheels vans to drive 2,750 miles.
  • $775 will pay for a Science On Wheels van to visit 480 elementary school students in Washington.




Support Our Animals

  • $25 will feed the naked mole rate colony for one week.
  • $125 will buy a month's supply of salt water for our tide pool.
  • $400 will buy scrub uniforms for animal caretakers.
  • $5,000 will support the Tropical Butterfly House for two weeks, serving 17,500 guests.




Live Science Shows

  • $25 will buy enough liquid nitrogen fro 40 Super Cold shows.
  • $125 will provide one day of astronomy shows.
  • $1,000 will train staff in one new show.
  • $4,000 will fund all shows on the Live Science Stage every day for one month.




Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center

  • $35 will pay for a child to participate in a Snowshoe Science Expedition at Snoqualmie Pass.
  • $320 will send a 5th grader to a Wild Survivor Camp with an overnight in the woods.
  • $500 will send three elementary classes out to the Mercer Slough for a Wetland Naturalist program.
  • $4,000 will fund the programs offered at the 320 acre Mercer Slough Nature Park in Bellevue for one week, serving 175 guests.
