Science Uncorked! The Sixth Annual Dino Wine-Oh!
The first 100 guests through the door will receive a free commemorative 50th anniversary wine glass. Plus, we'll be sampling King Tut Private Reserve, a very special red wine blend in honor of our upcoming exhibition, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs. Yes, wine truly fit for a king.
On April 26, 2012 join us for one of the most popular events of the year, our sixth annual Dino Wine-Oh! This year will feature smooth beats by DJ Austin Lee, and we will be bringing back our famous Dinosaur Wine Charm creation station. Also joining us is Matt Bachmann from the US Geological Survey, presenting on how water availability creates changes in viticulture. Dino Wine-Oh! features exclusively Washington State wineries under the watchful eyes of our resident dinosaurs and all proceeds go to support Pacific Science Center. Washington Wine Ambassadors will be on hand to provide knowledgeable tasting notes on over 20 Washington State wines, including Nota Bene, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Willis Hall, OS Winery, Stomani Cellars and many more! Enjoy Chardonnay under the stars in the Willard Smith Planetarium, or sip on a Cabernet Sauvignon as you explore the World of Washington Wine on the Science On a Sphere exhibit. Light wine accompaniments will be provided to please your palate.
Tickets are $25, $20 for members. Ticket price includes first three wine samples, snacks and entertainment. This event is 21+ and ID is required.
